Your Wild Salmon Puff Pastry has been quick-frozen to lock in the flavor and nutrients, and shipped to you on dry ice. Upon arrival, please freeze or refrigerate. Wild Salmon Puff Pastries will keep in the freezer for approximately 2-3 months; once thawed they should be cooked immediately. Once a frozen pastry is thawed, it can be re-frozen though we do not recommend it, as taste and quality may begin to suffer. No pastry should be re-frozen if it has been thawed 2 days or longer.

Thawing
The best way to thaw your pastry is to thaw 30 - 45 minutes at room temperture,  loosely covered in plastic wrap.

Cooking
BAKE: Pre-heat oven to 400F.  Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Optional Egg Wash:  To obtain a rich golden puff pastry; brush the surface with egg wash prior to baking:   Mix one egg yolk with 2 teaspoons of cold water   Using a pastry brush, brush evenly the tops and sides of pastries making sure that no excess eggwash is present.  Bake for 20 minutes at 400F.

Serving
Serve with a salad of mixed greens and your favorite wine for a meal to remember.
