We love this Lox. It is not like the traditional Lox you get in the store or restaurants. It is sumptuous. We are able to keep it exactly as it looks in the photo and peel off slices with a knife from the edges. It takes a little extra time but the thin slices do slide or peel off. We pair it with out favorite crackers and it makes a fabulous snack or lunch or anytime meal. We order it often. I highly recommend it. The taste is amazing.

I buy the 3ounce size for the two of us. We usually don't have leftovers from this size, especially since our cats want their share too! However, I have encountered the chopped up mess mentioned and have used the crumbs in scrambled eggs with dill, salad and other dishes.

These comments are about past orders of lox. First, it is delicious and it looks great upon receipt and sliding the contents onto a plate ... then it becomes a mess! I totally agree with the reviewer in Culver City. Frankly, I'm pretty well convinced that it is impossible to serve your lox as lovely, attractive slices. I'd love to serve this to guests; but, it ends up looking like a chopped salmon mess and it's impossible to lay a single slice on bagel or cracker. I don't have that problem with lox purchased at the grocery store. Can you do anything to make this product remain looking as good as it tastes?
