Bow Hill Heirloom Blueberries
By popular demand, we are proud to bring back Bow Hill Blueberries, our neighbors here in the Skagit Valley, as one of our Guest Purveyors! Organic, wild, and delicious—frozen at the peak of freshness!
Bow Hill is the oldest blueberry farm in Skagit Valley, Washington; they are a small, family-run farm with a huge commitment to growing, handpicking, and preserving heirloom blueberries organically. The heirloom varieties were the first blueberries to be brought in from the wild and planted in rows to be farmed. Small in size with thick, antioxidant-rich skin, these berries are a highlight of Skagit Valley’s abundant harvest. And, in 2017, many of the 4500 blueberry bushes on their 6-acre farm celebrated their 70th birthdays.
We’ve had countless customers and employees implore us to “Bring back the blueberries!” so we’ve procured this limited supply of Bow Hill’s 2018 harvest, frozen at the peak of freshness.
Each order is a 3 lb bag of Frozen Blueberries.
