Smoked Salmon & Pasta
SeaBear Smoked Salmon goes great with your favorite pasta sauce, particularly a marinara, Alfredo or pesto.  Simply chop smoked salmon and stir into sauce; plan on ¼ - ½ cup of smoked salmon per serving (depending on taste, and whether the pasta is a side dish or main course).  Include the juice from the pouch, particularly in an Alfredo sauce, for extra flavor.
 
Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs
Each 2LB pouch of SeaBear Smoked Salmon Bits & Pieces contains approximately 4 cups of smoked salmon.  When mixing with scrambled eggs, we recommend a ½ cup portion of smoked salmon added to 2-3 large eggs; toss into the mixture as you are scrambling.  Chopped mushrooms, green onions and/or bell peppers can also be added.  Will serve 10+.
Our smoked salmon has a shelf life of approximately 5 years and require no refrigeration until they are opened. Once opened, they will last 4-7 days in the fridge.

If you open the box and look at the gold pouch, you'll notice a series of letters & numbers (either on a white sticker, or stamped directly on the pouch, usually in red ink).

2 is the last digit of the year it was produced. 2 would be 2002, 5 would be 2005.
001 - the Julian Date (Jan 1st, 273 would be Sept 30th)
