To Prepare: Empty pouch into a saucepan, stir in 1.5 cups of half & half (or heavy cream). Slowly bring bisque to a gentle boil, (be careful no t to scorch), reduce heat to a simmer and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes (simmer longer for a thicker texture); or microwave until hot. Note: DO NOT place pouch in microwave

Lobster Bisque has a shelf life of approximately three years, and requires no refrigeration until the pouch is opened.

The pouch is vacuum-sealed and then gently cooked, so it preserves the bisque naturally.
