Ready-to-Eat Halibut with Tangy Fruit Salsa
Serves 3-4
 
Ingredients for Salsa:
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained and coarsely chopped
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple pieces, drained
¼ cup red bell pepper, finely diced
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
2 teaspoons lemon peel
 
Directions:
Combine lemon juice and honey in a medium mixing bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and toss together gently.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
Open a pouch of Ready-to-Eat Halibut, and combine well with natural juices.
Spoon into serving bowl, and garnish with crackers - Serve with salsa on the side

 

Our Ready-to-Eat Halibut has a shelf life of approximately three years, which make them perfect for camping trips, to pack in your RV, or for emergency kits.
To determine when your halibut was packaged, look on the back near the barcode. You'll find a white sticker with a code that looks like this:
