SeaBear Company: FT Buyer/Purchasing Agent (Anacortes)
Seeking a high performance professional to assume, responsibility for the sourcing and purchasing of all products, materials and supplies to support the company’s Anacortes and Woodinville facilities (other than Made In Washington store retail merchandise). The position is based in Anacortes, and reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
This position is the primary purchaser in support of our Anacortes and Woodinville operations. Specific responsibilities include:
-Working from our sales/production plans, place purchase orders for needed products/materials/supplies, and ensure all purchase orders are correctly issued and received by the promised date, to properly support our operations;
-Negotiate pricing and terms to meet or beat our Plan targets;
-Ensure products purchased meet or exceed our quality standards;
-Source new vendors and new products to meet the goals outlined by the sales channels;
-Perform inventory and costing tasks as assigned;
-Ensure continuous improvement in the purchasing and inventory department;
-Represent the purchasing function at production and cross-functional meetings.

SeaBear Company: Full Time QA Technician (Anacortes)Quality Control Technician is a Food Safety Team Member responsible for conducting internal food safety monitoring and monitoring quality on the production line. The QA Technician reports to the QA Manager.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
-Conduct quality control, HACCP and SSOP monitoring on the production line and throughout the plant on a routine basis in accordance with the company’s food safety and quality programs
-Assists in company’s ability to maintain excellent ratings on all inspections; internal or external
-Responsible for conducting the Daily & Weekly Inspections
-Responsible for following the food safety guidelines
-Understanding of allergens and allergen risks
-Accurate record keeping & reporting
Necessary Qualifications:
-HACCP Experience
-Ability to read and write in English
Desired Skills:
-Must be proficient in Access, Word, Excel
-Thorough & accurate testing and record keeping
-Supervisory skills
-Attention to detail & organization
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to follow written & verbal instruction
-Must be able to stand for 2 hour periods of time
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Availability: Full time weekdays
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent - HACCP certification a plus
